Kokopeli the Owner's Ultimate Questions

Hey peeps...

Today I went to Kokopelli Traveler's Bistro to meet my two adorable best friends, Hanna & Apeez. I (yang memang berani mati punya orang) drove to Kokopelli without a GPS. Siapa la punya bangang tak biasa tempat tu x guna GPS kan?? (I la tu!!)

Well, sesat punya sesat... Dengan kuasa Allah.. jumpa lah kokopelli ni. Tu pun call my fren Hanna like a thousand times (exaggerating!). Thx Hanna for being so patient... which made me arrive earlier than both of them. Nasib baik tak tunggu lama... They arrive just minutes after me. Sempat touch up dulu.

The door that welcomes you. Very modern and a lot of artistic things inside. But. because inside of the bistro was full, so out next best option was.....

yes, under the canopies. We sat at the middle table. Nasib baik buka kipas laju-laju. Tak la sepanas mana. Memeng redup pun...(again, thanks to http://myfavouritetaste.blogspot.com/2010/11/kokopelli-travelers-bistro-section-14.html for the lovely picture).

This is the menu presented to us... There's another huge 2-piece menu. Lupa nak amek picture sebab dah lapar sgt....

 

The first thing we asked for was the famous creme brulee!!!  it was amazingly delicious!!! The top sugar layer was crusty and the inside was soft and silky and milky.. Just a perfect start for our next menu... The owner ask why we asked for deserts first, we just told him... we were so hungry! hahaha

 

Drink were next... Mine was Orangeade and Hanna's was Fly Me to the Moon. Such an interesting name for such a flavorful  drink!!

 

This was Apeez's Lemonade... So refreshing!!! 

 

This was Apeez's Roasted Chicken ala Bistro. The best part was the mashed potatoes and the black pepper sauce.  Memang simply different from others. This is a must-try menu!!

 

This was Hanna's Seafood Spaghetti Oglio. You can really taste the ocean in this dish!! Really scrumptious!!

 

 

And this was my Moussaka... It's actually a Greek cuisine. I always wanted to try one of these but not every restaurant serve this menu. It's made of cheese + eggs, then layers of egg plants, the 'traffic-light' bell peppers, tomato based with minced lamb, and mashed potato at the bottom. The taste was satisfying and also another must-try menu!!

The owner of Kokopelli came to us, and asked us an ultimate question... "Kenapa orang sekarang bila masuk restoren yang ber 'aircond' tak pandai nak tutup pintu semula selepas masuk atau keluar??? dan kenapa orang yang merokok, puntung rokok dibuang ke lantai walaupun disediakan tong sampah??"... Well... I answered "kurang pendidikan??" dalam erti kata lain,.. kurang diajar?? Hanna answered "Selfish.. that's why..". Apeez?? Diam x terkata sebab sedap sangat makanan di situ...

Actually, he has a good point there. 

Apa nak jadi dengan bangsa kita??

Apa kita dah kurang menghormati orang tua dan orang lain?? 

Tak boleh ke kita bagi laluan kepada pejalan kaki dalam hujan?? Tak boleh ke kita berikan laluan untuk kenderaan lain yang mahu masuk simpang sedangkan kita tahu kita tak mungkin dapat jalan sebab dihadapan jem teruk?? Tak boleh ke kita tak nyalakan rokok di tempat makan lebih2 lagi bila berhampiran itu ada anak2 kecil dan ibu mengandung???

Apa yang tergesa-gesa sangat sampai tak boleh langsung perasankan orang di sekitar kita??

Take a minute.. reflect ourselves. 

Kita sekarang menjadi bangsa yang rushing and selfish tanpa kita sedari... 

Tepuk dada tanya iman.... 

Hablum minallah wa hablum minannas... Jaga hubungan dengan Allah dan hubungan dengan manusia lain... Itu tuntutan agama.. tak kira bangsa itu datangnya dari orang Melayu, Islam atau Cina atau India... If we make people happy, we will be happier! Trust me...
